Eman Hayat Jajonie-Daman

Attorney At Law

Eman is a trailblazer in the immigration legal world. Known for her straightforward honesty, strong work ethic, compassionate attitude, and tenacity in court, Eman’s professional goals boil down to two words: integrity and results.

Eman graduated with a bachelor’s in science from Oakland University in 1986. She earned her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1990 and has been practicing immigration law ever since. An immigrant herself, Eman came to the United States in 1979 from Iraq; it was only fitting that she dedicated her professional career to helping immigrants alike. She speaks three languages fluently: English, Arabic and Aramaic. A previous magistrate for 10 years, she is also a mother, a wife, and an independent businesswoman.

Eman has helped immigrants from all over the world, all religions and creeds, all races and genders and all walks of life. She is a strong advocate of human rights and believes in the message that the U.S. stands for: that we are all created equal under the eyes of God and are endowed with certain unalienable rights. Eman is from the old school, a rare breed of attorneys who values integrity and honor above all else. She takes her cases to heart and fights for her clients like she’s advocating for a family member. With Eman, being a lawyer isn’t just a career, it’s an art, and she’s the Picasso.
